Hello everyone, I stumbled across this forum while Googling something a few months ago and can see there is a wealth of great information available here.

I just moved to a new town last year and for the first time (at age 53) I have a garage. It's a new-ish, detached, 24x24 garage that's currently unfinished inside. I'm hoping to start soon to finish the interior (especially insulating) and set up a shop to use all year round.

Looking forward to doing some woodworking and light mechanical work and eventually some metal work.

Am I a cop? ... Wow, that's quite the first question to be asked upon entering a room! What kind of establishment has this naïve prairie farm boy wandered into? Is this site really about garages, or is that just a cover for something .... more interesting? Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

But seriously, I assume you must be thinking of the RCMP training academy here in Regina and that I am a Mountie that's just been posted here. But no, I am in mainframe computers.
