Hello from Scotland in UK

Hi my name is Kris and i stay in a seaside town called Troon on the south west coast of Scotland. Any golfers will have heard of the British Open course of Royal Troon.

Anyway just wanted to say hello and currently browsing the forum for ideas on building my own shed that will be used as a motorcycle workshop. Was going to just buy a prebuilt shed off the shelf and get someone else to assemble it but i like the idea of doing in myself and getting a better quality shed for possibly less money.

Any hints tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Especially with plans, base preparations and materials.

Welcome to the GJ.

May I suggest you update your location to something better than In Garden as in future you may find that helps you when you have specific questions that affect you. Troon Scotland would be much better. Specially given the forum has a very global membership. Often you will find subjects may get different answers depending on locations and regulations.

Welcome!! You should enjoy GJ as it is populated with a lot of congenial people with a lot of shared interests and good shop ideas.

My wife and I made our first visit to Scotland for 16 days in July! What a beautiful country! Three days in Glasgow, three days in Edinburgh, and a 10 day bus tour through the country side and smaller cities. Great trip and saw a ton of castles!!! I'd love to go back again someday.

And, contrary to popular information, hagas is pretty good!!! But the scotch is better!
