Hello to all! I am 26 and love working on my cars. I have had several Camaros, a couple Mustangs, an Explorer, one mid 70s Thunderbird, and now I'm on my first 4 banger, a 1990 240sx. I've collected many unique tools along the way and love finding something I've never seen before to add to my collection of tools. It's a great feeling to have that one tool you'd never know existed or what it was used for if you saw it, until you realize you could never finish that job without it.

If you're anywhere near Charleston, I've been wrenching on 240SX's for about 6 years now, if youve got any questions. I have an '89 myself that the engine is coming out of this weekend.

I'm in Macedonia, just outside Moncks Corner. What's the engine coming out for? Mine is all stock, 142K on the body, about 800 miles on the stock KA single cam I had rebuilt when I got it. I did as much as I could myself, intake, fuel system, including a new gas tank, just the headwork and block I couldn't do, the head needed machining. Jumped timing with previous owner and bent valves. The single cam KA is a dream to work on compared to the LS1 I had in my old Camaro. Everything is right there.

Stock SOHC is coming out from progressively worse rod knock. I have another block getting worked over by don's machine in Moncks Corner, gonna get it back together, and gonna be looking towards some boost probably next year. 199,7** miles when it went. I go out to that area alot, I do all of my "sporting" at Boggy Head.

Yes indeed, Boggy Head is just around the corner from my house, (just around the corner in BFE distance). Of course, where I'm at, my yard suffices just as well.
