Now that I have learned where the introduce yourself thread is (thanks djjsr - don't know how I missed that)- I have only lurked here for a few days before joining. Seems like a very active board. I currently have a 24 X 32 detached garage along with a 1.5 car attached garage. I'm always looking for ways to spruce them up and maximize storage and I've already seen several good ideas here. Sadly - I do not have a lift in my garage. Do not ostracize me - feel sorry for me. I have a plain concrete floor - again, do not ostracize me. I'm doing the best I can! Seriously, I'm relatively fairly (not really) handy and my garage is more functional than man-cave. With three boys ages 2 to 6, I also lose a drive bay just for outside toys so it will be a few years before I can reclaim my 'space'. I use my detached garage for heavy storage, light woodwork, and light mechanical. In other words, jack of all trades and master of none.
