I was an elevator mechanic for 9 years and after layoffs and much searching different career paths, I got a maintenance mechanic position at Florida international university(FIU). Not a bad place to be. There's always work to do.

Welcome to GJ, Dan. You're from my neck of the woods... I lived in Kendall and real near the Tamiami campus for almost 30 years. And I was just down there for setting up the Fair.

FIU is a great place to work. They have been keeping us busy designing dorms for many years.
