I have picked up great tips from this site! I am tired of feeling like a ****** so I better intro myself. I am building my dream garage to store and tinker with my current and future collector cars. Concrete block, heavy, heavy stone veneer (5 inch thick split rock) picked from our desert site to match the house, 7 bays, all high enough to double stack. Being a true car nut, I am planning on including about everything i have seen on this forum: 220v, air lines, lifts, in wall vac, 7 tons cooling, gas heating, tv/computer/phone/alarm, rust finish jackshaft operated high lift doors, VCT floors, yada, yada, yada. Walls are up, roof on, working on electric and plumbing install. Maybe 6 weeks to finish. By the way, it was 78 degrees here today.
