I found this group while searching for information on which shop style to build. I'm still undecided which way to go! I have a space that will fit a 40x50 shop, and am trying to decide between the tubular steel (e.g. versatube/mueller Value+) and red iron. I'd like it to be at least 14ft tall. I don't do anything too crazy, I'd like to put a lift and have space to work on my 65 mustang. Some folks I've talked to think the steel buildings are not heavy duty enough to be considered a shop. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
