Hello everyone, My name is Josh AKA Frkzila. I am a 30yo tinkerer with a growing tool collection. I found this forum looking for ways to organize my new toolbox and wow at the amount of information! My workshop is a 16'x32' stick built that I built myself little by little paying cash as I went along, still working on finishing the inside.(this is a step up from my little 8'x8' prefab building I started with when we bought the house) The "inside" is 16'x20' with plywood floor while the other 16'x12' with dirt floor where I keep my ATV, lawn tractor and other yard-working and gardening tools. I worked in maintenance at a nursing home and hospital from 1995 to 2006, and that is where I picked up most of what I learned about mechanics, electrical, plumbing, grounds keeping, and construction. My shop now is just a place where I tinker. I do a little of everything in there from woodworking, computer repair, light fabrication (welding in the driveway) to making my own fishing lures. I'm starting a tool collection slowly as I need them and so I can pay cash for them. Between returning to college last year and having a wife and two daughters I'm on a very limited budget and I refuse to charge anything unless I have to. I hope one day to build me a nice garage on a concrete slab and be setup with tools like some of you guys!
