Hi there, new member but long time lurker. I've just put the house my Wife and 2 kids have lived in for 20 years up for sale. The kids have gone their own ways and the Mrs and I have decided to change things up a bit. So, bought a mid century modern home in a different part of town which we love.
It needs some updating in the kitchen and bathrooms, but what we're all interested in is the garage.
The new house's garage is a bit smaller than the one I built for the old house. My old garage was 24x36 and the new one is 24x24. It is insulated, dry walled and heated which is good. But that'a about it. The lighting is horrible. The garage door needs to be replaced or restored. The whole thing is going to be a long term project! So what better place than here to do some research, post about the journey and get to meet the Garage Journal community!
