Hey, CV! I'm a fellow north Texan but I'm closer to Lake Lewisville than the TMS. Nowhere near as exciting but a bit quieter, to be sure! Liking your avatar (B25B or C, right?) and your interest in vintage warbirds!
Been a warbird guy since I was in tech school lots of years ago. Have two of my own under restoration and I'm a factory warbird guy for paying the bills. The one in my avatar is a Fairchild AT-21. I am restoring the only one known to still exist, such as it is.
Outstanding, CV! That Fairchild AT-21 project sounds like a true labor of love. I have great respect and appreciation for folks like yourself who work to restore these rare and amazing examples of historic military aircraft. Good luck with this and future projects!
Absolutely! Now remember I said "starting to bloom"...
One is a field of bluebonnet seedlings. They are as thick as I've ever seen. The other is a pic of an early bloomer.
We're just now starting to see a few more. I didn't get any pics, but driving around this weekend I saw more areas with blooms. They should really get started in the next two weeks or so. More pics then!
