Hello Men!
My name is Buddy and my Wife and I are downsizing/simplifying our life. We're moving from Hampton Roads Virgina to Moyock NC. We're going from a 3000 sf home to a 1500 sf home. The good news is that there will be less space to heat, clean, etc. Additionally, the new place is in the country on a one acre parcel. My plans include building a 40 x 64 pole barn (probably with 16/20 ft sides) with part of it to include a second floor to layout as a mancave. I've got the typical man stuff collected over the years (boats, rv, tools, etc). Intend to install a lift also. At first I was thinking about a 60 x 80 ft pole barn but after walking off the sizes, I figured a 40 x 64 was big enough. I decided to join this site for some inspiration and to learn from other's mistakes. I'm also a retired submariner.
