hi everyone,
just discovered this site via a member at for abodies only and I have to say, WOW! What a site! Congrates to all the existing members here! Well done!
We have recently purchased 95 ac and will be attempting to save a 130 year old timber frame barn to our new property for equipment storage etc. I will be needing all the expertise available from the members as this structure is a barn and not a stick building. We may eventually turn it into a house, but for now, it will have the frame re-constructed as a walkout basement on an (icf)foundation with either the main floor or w/o level being an insulated/heated area to work on or hide from my wife! Of course, I am here to ask for help,
from all the members in the future. We are in negotiations for the frame etc, so once the hurdle of that and the permits etc is overcome, I will be back. In the meantime, I will be lurking and reading alot of the threads. A small jpeg of the frame for viewing is below.
