Hello from up North!

Hello everyone,

I'm just a tinkerer and I'm planning on having a contractor build me a garage out back. That is if the city lets me (I'm at the limit of my allowable square footage already).

So I dropped by for ideas but I'm impressed with all the neat things you people here have been working on, the tools you are using and above all the garages you have built. There's lots to learn at GarageJournal!

GB: what city do you live in? reason i'm asking is i'm positive there are many members that are past planners that might be able to help with the zoning issues. if you put the city or state where you are located in your profile sometimes that is a good thing.
