Hi,

After surfing for months, I decided to create an account. It is amazing to see what others have done to their garages.

Nothing special here, just your typical residential two car with the split door. I have contemplated buying a lift, but the ceiling is too low. Even with a maxjax, the cars would only lift 3 feet before the roof hits door openers. Likewise, the quick jacks only seem to lift a foot or two. Concrete condition is questionable. I have been getting by with rhino ramps, a lower profile jack, and four jack stands.

Dimensions are roughly 24' L x 22' W x 9' H. Aside from hobby work and maintenance on cars, I plan to get a circular saw someday so I can learn some basic carpentry. Previous owner left mowers, garden and handyman tools for me (bless his heart). Nice to meet you all! :)

I would luv a lift as well but I have the same issue with ceiling height..

May I suggest you update your profile with your location as in future ( posts )you may find that helps. Specially given this is a very global forum.

As always, enjoy..

Welcome! I was in Virginia to visit the historic Jamestown and Yorktown about a year ago. Lovely place, friendly people, and AleWerks brewery was the best.
