Hello,
My name is Kirk and I'm and employee of Kennedy MFG that makes the world renown Kennedy toolbox and have been for over 100 years. I've also been employed professionally as an ASE automotive tech among others qualification for many years. I'm also a retired military vet who has used many tool boxes from many different companies over the years, Snap On, Craftsman you name it. I've used them
Id be happy to answer any and all questions pertaining to Kennedy Tool chests. I'm not a salesman or rep but I do think nobody makes the high quality boxes we do. Am I biased? Maybe. Are the new boxes pricey? Compared to the China junk that most major retailers sell yeah. But our boxes last lifetimes. Mine will last several lifetimes if cared for with any effort. You can get replacement parts in the event you need them with relative ease in most instances. I'm a made in the USA type and our boxes are made in my hometown.
If you own a Kennedy box or would like to have me answer your question just pop me a message and I'll do my best to put you in the right direction. Admittedly my favorite tools are Craftsman, S&K and Snap on
Happy tooling.
