Hello from Vancouver, Washington

Hey there. New to the forum.

Bought our current house several months ago in Vancouver, Washington and just cleaned out the garage this weekend and am ready start the makeover.

To do list:
Remove all of the old cabinets
Paint the walls a combination of black, red and grey
Add interlocking floor tile
Reconfigure the lights
Install new garage door opener
Add vintage signs/memorabilia
Build new workbench
build new storage solution
Mount a TV somewhere
...and I'm sure I'm missing about a billion things.

Mike: your garage doesn't look that bad and the good thing is that you have a ton of floor space. how many cars do you usually park inside it? that back garage door is kinda cool so is that for the bike or do you live on a golf course and that was for the golf cart?

welcome to the forum and also saw you posted on the PNW thread to so ask questions if you have any.

here's a thread i started that should get a lot of good ideas for ORGANIZING called ORGANIZING 201 and between commercial shelving lofts and a ton of old vintage cabinets you should have a great garage by this time next year.

just a little warning if you didn't know already. the more you read on GJ the more you'll learn how to use tools and want to buy more so you'll rarely have a benjamin in your wallet that isn't spoken for or about ready to be spent on tools and cool stuff. i've never been so happy to not have a lot of cash though.
