Hi everyone,
Just a quick intro, my name is Rich and I was originally from California and recently moved up to the Seattle area in Washington state over 5 years ago. Found this site when I was researching jack stands. I currently have a set of Hein-Werner 3-ton jack stands. So far they've held up my 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 for almost a year while I'm restoring it. I bought them initially as they've had decent reviews on them before (not lately now I noticed) and they were made in the USA. Currently looking for an alternative as I need another set to work on my other car. Thinking maybe US Jack...though may give in to HF 3-ton as I don't plan on keeping my other car elevated for any extended time. Another alternative is the Craftsman 4-ton.
I work as an IT contractor at Premera in Mountlake Terrace, have a beautiful gf, 1 stepson, and 1 son of my own. I like working on cars, gaming, music, writing, computers, and eventually will return to the autocrossing scene.
So hoping to post more and definitely will research more here.
Best regards,
Rich
