Just found the intro thread, so I figured I'd post in here. Better late than never!
I'm currently working as a transit railcar mechanic in Chicago, but live around the Milwaukee area. Been working on cars, computers, and DIY projects from a very young age, and really enjoy the satisfaction of doing repairs and creating things on my own instead of going out and buying something.
Hoping to learn a lot from here, and offer my input wherever I can. The community here looks awesome and it's great to find a forum that's still active
