Hi everyone,

New member on GJ after lurking for a while. Love the forum and decided to register. I have some property in Three Lakes, WI, and looking to build a new garage now and planning to build a cabin sometime in the future. In the meantime, I'm interested to hear from folks that make creative use of some space inside their garages as a small living area.

Greetings, we had a cottage on Townline right off of Planting ground. Beautiful area. Are you from GB?

Welcome from a part time Hodag.
We have a pole building in Town of pine lake.Not far from Boom lake NW of Rhinelander.
Build a 800 sq ft living space with loft on one end.
Used the Oaks I dropped to make T&G paneling for the inside.
I will post pictures later.
Have not had any success from my iPad.

Hi there. Actually, my family is originally from a suburb of Chicago (Gurnee, IL). We moved to Kenosha, WI about 10 years ago. Our family has been camping up north for many years at the Franklin Lake Campground. We love the area and finally bought a small piece of property (about 6 acres) last year in Three Lakes. We plan to camp on the property and looking to build a 30' x 54' x 12' garage this year. I am interested in using some of the internal space for a living area until we build a cabin (which is a few years out yet). So many great ideas and people on this forum!

Hi. If you are referring to the expansive bike trails in Three Lakes / Eagle River, yes, we do use them. Simply beautiful!

Hi there. We love the winery in Cedarburg. If I'm not mistaken, I believe there's a an old covered bridge in that area, too. Good for antiquing as well!

thats always great to hear! got any pics of the trails you go on? dont forget to add a bike/caar lift to your garage.
