I'm a new member from the southeastern Wisconsin area (Waukesha County). Currently going through the process of securing land to build the garage. The remainder of this year and 2019 will be dedicated to planning. Spring of 2020 will be ground breaking with completion in the summer/fall of 2020.
Currently planning for a 40'x30' framed structure to match the house. One raised bay for a lift and storage above the other two bays. I would like to do in floor heating, but I'm not sure if I can do that with a lift? Possibly just do keep out areas for the lift posts? Also thinking about a floor drain so I can do bucket washing in the winter (will not have running water to keep costs down).
Another big consideration I'm contemplating is the need for an EV charging station and what the electrical requirements would be for that?
