near Grand Rapids. I heard about this site from people at work in Holland, Michigan. I'm enjoying the site and would appreciate any opinions you care to offer.
I'm in the initial phases of planning for a 30x60 pole barn w/ lean-to(s) on the long sides. Plans call for in-floor radiant heat, pex tubing embedded into 6" concrete. An outdoor wood burner, with natural gas backup will take the chill off in the cold months.
I'm dreaming of a car lift sometime in the future, what provisions should i make in the concrete now. i.e. what kind of footprint needs to be designed in, or is 6" concrete enough?
