Ah yes, I am also a socket and wrench addict. I have multiple socket trays full. Multiple Craftsman modules and several Craftsman mechanic sets, Kobalt sets, Mac sets, and Gearwrench sets.

I have several full sets of Craftsman combo wrenches, two sets of Professionals, Blackhawk ratchet wrenches, Gearwrench ratchet wrenches, Mac, and Craftsman's too... 4-5 sets of impacts, 3/8 impacts, and enough extensions and swivels to extend the length of my shop I need help!

BTW, Pliers are just a gateway tool that leads to hammers, and then, ultimately, to vices.

Really really big vices. And LOTS of them. Lots and lots of them.

Tis's sad really. But worthy of the journey.

I am right there with you. I now have 3 plier drawers in my box. I started the year with exactly 0 knipex pliers. I now have all but the insulated that lowes sold. I now have more tools than when I was working full time in a shop. And I just keep buying. I just got a Mac guy and have been putting together a want list. I don't use them everyday and miss working in the shop. Although my body thanks me. I need help.

I actually have 5 of those pliers I gave a pair to dad and there was one on top of my box that I was using. *edit*: The 4th pair is dead center of the picture, toward the right side of my rack...other 3 are laying out

And yes, I do need a vice. But there are a lot of farms around here, and farmers know what they are worth

There's also some Klein in there too!
Lowes was a big contributing factor. So was Tractor Supply when they clearanced theirs out. I left with 7 pairs of the 420's for $3/ea.
The Kobalts came with the box when I bought it...

There's a pair of 909's (wire crimpers) in my electrical box, and I still need to get a pair of welpers (360's I believe) to go nicely with my blue Miller welders

After staring at that picture, I realize that I NEED to finish my plier rack (and add a second one). You can see I started it and never finished...

Don't have any pics at moment let me run out in the shop and take some. I love tools in general. Expensive infatuation. Guys i work with dont understand why i have so many tools. But there not afraid to borrow any of them. Its amazing i work with two guys that have been wrenching for about 50years straight and you could fit all of their tools in a small 26" craftsman top and bottom. Unreal.

Hot Deals are something not mentioned by parents when you were growing up. Once addicted...all hope is lost. Professional help coupled with massive doses of SYWR points and yellow clearance tags are your only chance at recovery.

Fortunately I have made peace with my addiction and can lead a semi-normal life. The spoils of my endless searches help a little too.

Oh...and I like ratchets...and bacon...

There's about 5-6 in there, 3 more in my electrical box, and I've only got about 5 c-clamp vise grips. I need more of those considering I do a bit of welding.

Honestly, I've only used them once just to say I have. They came with the box when I bought it years ago.

Not trying to horn-in on this excellent thread==just thought that I would add my 2 cents worth. Picked these up @ local swap meet for $10.00 in the 6=7=8 inch sizes & have used them for removing those pesky hose clamps in very difficult locations were nothing else works. They are what I would consider a great tool for the occasional wrencher-not for a pro who has to use them daily. Definately made in China and lack refinement=can & will pinch your fingers if in the wrong location when using==ask me how I know!!!
