Hi All,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I am in the process of building (finishing really) a garage, shop, man cave, garage-mahal. The wife calls it a carriage house when she's in a good mood, "money pit" or worse, when she's not. Have four cars, a '97 VW, a '99 Mercedes C43, a '04 Mini "S" and a '71 TR6. Plan to do a fully body-off on the TR as soon as the shop is completed.
I'm a DIY kind of guy. Have restored two cars in the past. A '68 Spitfire (a long time ago) and a '86 911 that I bought new, put 121K on it, completely rebuilt then sold it (don't ask).
I like all cars but have a particular fondness for European iron (can you tell?).
Also like sports car racing, especially the vintage stuff and F1.
