Been lurking on this forum for a while and decided to make an introduction.

A little about myself: I'm in my early 30s and originally from Akron, Ohio. About 2 years ago I quit a job as an environmental geologist and decided to become a middle/high school science teacher. Currently been doing interviews in the counties surrounding Athens, Ohio. Once, I get a contract signed I plan to start the search for a house/hobby farm with a small barn to house my tools, which are mostly in storage.

Other things I'm interested in: fishing, kayaking, target shooting (clays and SASS), gardening, and of course tinkering on things. I also recently decided to get my Ham radio license.

So far, this forum has been an interesting read for me.

Welcome to GJ, from one raised in Zanesville (whose father got his degree, quit Cleveland factory work, and found a teaching job in Southeastern Ohio in the late 1950s).
