I am an old guy, 60 next week, that has been a car freak since the age of two and a tool nut since I started working on my own cars at 16. I have always tried to own nice quality tools and I have put them to good use over the years. For whatever reason, I have started to refresh my tool collection with new tools, even though I don't use them as much as I used to.

In addition to remodeling my tool box with some nice new Snap-On stuff, I am going through the garage and really cleaning it up and organizing it.

I had a member suggest this forum, and I am very happy to be here. Thanks all, this forum makes me realize I am somewhat normal!

Welcome to the board. If you love high-quality tools, then the Tool forum on this board is going to make you feel VERY normal. :)

(As I get closer to it, 60 is starting to seem very young to me. Still so much to do.)

Welcome Dave. I have discovered old age to be a moving target. It is some ten years older than the person who is answering the question of what is old age.

Hello all, including Puyallup Steve. And yes, the Engine House is still around in Tacoma.

This has been a fun site to wander around in. Some of the garages are unbelievable. And I have tried to buy and have sold a bit of my tools that are extras. Now I am working at getting the garage nice enough to be proud of again. Thanks for the inspiration.
