Just a note to say Hello to everyone. I look forward to enjoying the enormous amount of knowledge contained on this forum. I've read a few threads and am truly impressed by the warmth, friendliness and desire to help one another that comes across in the postings. Hopefully, I'll learn some things and maybe I'll be able to help someone else in the future. I really like what I've seen so far.
My wife and I are in Florida and just starting to settle back in my retirement home. She retired soon be 2 years ago now. We're on a 2200 acre lake with a new residence on a 2 acre parcel of land. A new 24 x 24 steel garage w/concrete floor was recently erected. Last week a couple of my neighbors helped me run electricity to it from the main panel. I had an electrician do the wiring (100 amp panel) and put in one outlet for the time being. I'm putting my ideas on paper and trying to configure the best lighting scenario. Hopefully, I'll have it completed soon. I do know that the information furnished by you guys has been very helpful.
Well, that's my little introduction. Look forward to a long and lasting relationship with you guys.
Tom

Welcome to GJ, Tom from the west side of the State. Congrats on the retirement. Hope it works. (I've known a lot of people who have failed at it and end up starting second career. Which isn't a bad thing. )

Good Luck with your shop. Start a build thread in the 'Garage Gallery' and post pix of the progress.
