Hi,

My name is Kenny and I found this site while trying to get some info for my "old beat up" bench grinder. I always liked the old grinder, so much better than the new junky ones.

I am amazed at the wealth of information that can be found here. I can get lost for hours it seems looking thru the forums.

Oh, it turns out my "old beat up" bench grinder is a a block grinder.

Again, what a great site.

Blue: nice handle and glad you finally joined. i'm guessing you found the Craftsman block thread and if you haven't yet you need to. i hang my hat there to get new information almost daily on not only my block grinders, but grinders in general because the guys over there are awesome.

please post up pictures of your block so you might get some suggestions to get it working in top form. also plenty to read on that huge thread and if you still have questions please ask and somebody probably will try to help you.

welcome

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I will get some pics over to the block thread, but first i might have to clean all the grease and grime off the grinder, it gets used quite often.
