Greetings from Duluth, GA! I've checked this place out in the past a number of times and figure that it's about time I register my own 2 cents from time to time. I also have a question. I don't see a spot anywhere in the forum for those oddball tools that we all run across from time to time and I thought a good addition might be "WHAT IS IT?" I have some sort or measuring tool that kind of appears to be a depth gauge (although for what - IDK). Anyone help?

Nah, too small.

Guide for a circular saw.

Welcome Ga bud.

Ding, ding, ding...that's a winner. I got a vintage Craftsman circular saw from my dad when he passed and this was in another box of tools that I just opened over the weekend. I see a grooved slot and a set screw on here where it definitely fits. He was always removing stuff he did not want to mess with from tools. I have an old 7 1/2 craftsman table saw from the 50s or 60s (yes, it still works), that is missing the blade guard and the rip fence from, that he probably removed also.

Thanks for the info Cobra and Katodog!
