Just found your group and am interested in the solutions home and professional mechanics use when having to lift things. My company makes industrial quality lightweight portable aluminum gantry cranes for a variety of industries and applications. All the parts we use are made (not just sourced) in the US or Canada.

We can supply portable gantry cranes from 1/2 to 5 tonnes that can be broken down and transported in a standard pickup truck. To date we have installed several in truck garages to supplement overhead cranes or as the only crane in rental units.

If you are ever looking for a portable crane that can be rolled when loaded and need something to 21 ft. tall with a 22 ft. beam rated at 2000 lbs. then we can help. We have just shipped three of these units to Africa and Brazil for a company in British Columbia, Canada that services helicopters.

If you want further information send me an email and I'll get back to you with specs and pricing.

I look forward to following the discussions and finding out what's happening.

Hi Mike, welcome!
Too bad you didn't join a few weeks ago, I want a gantry, bad! I am in the process of building one now. I blew out my back a few years ago & I need one to let me do much of anything without hurting myself. I already have all the parts needed & have just begun to start welding it up.

BTW, I'm only a few miles from you(45min). It's a great site... enjoy!

Steve
