Hi;
I'm glad to have found a place on the net with my same interests. I'm retired but still ride my Harley. I have had a few hot rods and I'm currently resroring and old gas pump. I have quite a few Gas and Oil related items. My most recent sale of a gas pump brought me a guy who made an offer on my Alamite Garage cabinet from the 50's or eariler. I was dumb founded as to what it was worth. It has all the orginal hardware and emblems along with the parts washer in the bottom cabinet. It has the roll down door infront of the steel peg board. All the SS trim is nice , lights work but has only one orginal fluted glass in the top. I replaced both glass with new fluted glass but not the same as orginal. It has the air hose rollers in the steel work bench. My employer when I was 17 closed his service station in 1968 and gave it to me and I have had it ever since (2nd Owner). Any ideas on how much it maybe worth ? Restoration would almost be a paint job because it has very little damage. Thanks
