Hi folks! I found this site a while back when Jack Olsen's garage was featured in one of the regular e-mails I get from several auto parts retailers. I was so impressed, I found a used 4000-lb table lift on ebay for $160 and bought it. It's going to take some work to get it ready (it's actually an tilt lift, so I'm going to have to alter it), but it'll come in really handy while restoring my 1986 MR2.

I've just now gotten around to signing up, and I'm looking forward to picking some brains as I engage in a number of garage projects from automotive restoration (I have three cars in various stages of restoration) and general automotive repair to additions to my house.

Welcome to the forum from Wisconsin.

I spent some time in your fair State back in the 60's and 70's. I was stationed at Fort Gordon, Fort Stewart and and Hunter Army Airfield. I rather enjoyed my time in Georgia although at times it was pretty hot and humid. I found the food on the local economy to be very good too, although I must say, grits leave a lot to be desired.
