Hi names James, I joined after some lurking and getting info on a vise. I'm an aircraft mechanic in the Air Force and I work on my cars and motorcycle. I recently bought a house so I'm still trying to get the right setup in my garage.

welcome to the forum!!!

I'm acquiring the vise from my mother in law next time I go up her parts of the country. It's a '90s Wilton 400s, probably going to get bolted to my roll around box unless I rearrange my garage again
Thank you!

JT: if you want a little Wilton vise history here's a thread that will keep you busy that you can post your Wilton vise on once you grab it from Mom's house.

before i joined GJ i thought Wilton was the only vise maker of quality vises and your 400 is a good one. you stick around here and you might still like your Wilton, but i bet you might see or find another one or two you might like even better.

cheers
