I'm from Northern California.

I have a garage (home) with 50 year old concrete in good shape (no cracks, sealer or oily spots). I was looking to add epoxy of floor covering while it
is still empty.

I've been reading the flooring section for a bit, but wanted to join and
see all the pictures.

Good idea to hit the Flooring section for all your anwswers. And I agree its best to get the floor done when its empty. I've been here 10 years and am having to move everything, even a VW Bus, just to get the floor under everything.

I think I was too quick to think my floor was in good shape. I installed some T8 lighting fixtures and the floor really looks it's age. Various stains and a previous sealant of some kind. Looks like more research on preparation or going with tiles.

Well, I can say you're a smarter man than me.... by the time I even found out about such a thing as epoxy flooring my garage would take longer to empty than Hoover Dam..... If you get a chance, DO take some "before" pics just in case you later want to show us your results !
