On the message toolbar there is a little yellow button with a mountain and sun landscape, click it and copypasta your link URL into the text field that opens.

I remember when I first started posting on forums I used to type "
" around my link address before I figured it out.

Merry....welcome from Ohio! I have an iPad and I guess I'm too 'old school' to figure this out my self. One of these days...... Good luck!

Hi Mperry, Here is a link I found on this site that explains it pretty well. The first is a thread that talks about it, then there is an explanation for including pics from your local drive.

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/s...d.php?t=162883

This is for pics in the hard-drive
After you click on Post Reply and write some text and click on "Go Advanced", scroll down to the Manage Attachments buttons and click on that. A second window will pop up, where you can browse your hard drive, select, and then upload the photos you want to include. Make sure they sized properly - if they're right off your digital camera they're probably be too large. 800 x 600 or maybe 1024 x 768 is about as big as they should be. After you click on the upload button wait for the picture file names to appear in the 'current attachments' blank.

After that's done, close that popup window and you can then enter the post.

Hello do you have a photo-bucket account??? That's what I use, to use that you put your pic on your computer or whatever device you use than upload into photo-bucket next go to library and find your pic, hover over it until the little gear comes up in the right corner and click the "snare links" button, then go back here to the page you want to post it on and then copy the URL at the top of the page next go back to photo-bucket and click the "direct" button on the share links page it should blink yellow and say "copied" finally come back here again and click the little yellow box (in pic above) and delete what is there, right click and select paste, click ok your image should come up as a URL but click on preview post and you'll be able to see it. Good luck, I'm sure there's other sites like that you can get but I don't know how to use them!

MP: i see you figured out how to post a bigger picture in the toolbox thread or do you still have questions?

i use the paperclip above where we write the posts because they come up as a thumbnail and two clicks by the viewer and they are much bigger than an image pulled off Photobucket. also Photobucket pictures tend to leave the threads if a member closes his account or accidently deletes them which isn't a good thing.

by the way welcome to the forum and nice Snap on roller. what is the top of your roller made out of??
