Recently picked up a Craftsman Power Hacksaw Model 108.1502 that’ll I’ll be trying to restore. It currently works and looks to be all there besides at the front where it is missing the original Tension Lever. I believe the part no. is GBF-134

I posted this in the WANTED section, and a fellow member suggested I post it here to see if another member would be willing to help me out in maybe fabricating the missing piece. Feel free to reach out to me.

Thank you in advance!!

After looking on google images, it looks like the part is pretty basic. I think the original may have been cast iron. A piece of steel flat bar would work too. Looks like it’s just 2 drilled and tapped holes and a slot milled on one end. I might be able to handle that if you can’t find anyone else to do it. My email is [email protected] we can talk about it.

Pretty easy to make that part with basic tools. First is the original cast iron version and a fabricated version second.
