I have one a bit older I paid like 400 I think it's been awhile.

I believe the chrome Snap On badges began in the late 50's.

I have those boxes with the older Snap On badges. The roller has 1957 stamped on the front at the bottom.

Those look to me as if they've been repainted at some point. A really nice restoration is not going to yield much in value, maybe $350-400 for the set. And that would need to be really good.

IMO, the only reason to do restoration is because you want to keep them. Don't do one for money because you'll be working for minimum wage, if that.
