HELP! detail identifacation

im trying to figure out what this detail is refering to? on my footing detail there is a D1 but not a description of what im looking at. what is this symbol? am i missing something? if you need more info that might help i will try and provide it. if any of ya have an answer or a suggestion i would appreciate it

The center of the first pic, labeled 1 - D1, maybe its for the rebar layout, and the flag is pointing to the section it goes... other than that...dunno

ya we think it is for the rebar lay out but not sure where or what to do if any. in the second detail in the rebar tie and splice, know clue where or what the multiple bent piece of rebar goes or what the hell its for.here is a pic of the footing layout.have the basic 16 X 16 o.c. and all the footing rebar figured out . i believe....
