I rented the Home Depot Diamagrinder set up and it keep[s jumping out of my hands. The slightest touch and it spins, digs and skips over the floor. I cant seem to control it. Any pointers? Right now its a $130 hazard. I am 6 foot, 180. Do you need to be a Bubba to use one of these things? Thanks.

If it has an articulating handle, try keeping it as low as possible. That will help give you better leverage over the machine.

I forgot which way it spins but lifting the handle makes it go one way pushing down makes it go the other twist the handle to move forward or back. Note the handle weighs some so to neutralize you must lift the handle slightly. It does take some getting used to. But my 16 year old son was able to do it.

Thanks. Is your 16 year old son available? Just kidding, I traded out for a 7 Inch Diamabrush and a Makita Grinder. It gives me much more control and has a vacuum attachment whereas the big one had no attachment. It is going well so far. Thanks again for the tips.

And here's some video of me using it after a strong cup of coffee. Ha ha! (Not really me, but cool video!)

Re: Help-Diamagrinder problems- Opinion Please

Does this profiling look acceptable? It is not even but it absorbs water. Does it appear deep enough and will the lines show? Thanks
