Hopefully someone here knows what this thing is. I suspect something to do with fishing or fly tying but have no idea. Honestly don't even remember where or how I got it. Anyhow the aluminum? body has an ID # 756460 and the loop ID # 756461 so must be part of a set? If you stand it on the pin and that noose the body doesn't touch the table. Don't know if that is significant but note worthy. Also the opening thru the handle isn't a true square or diamond. One side has an obtuse angle while the opposite has an acute angle between each side.

So any ideas or direction to point me.

1174. Seal and window retainer installation tool used for battle damage repairs for a military Chinook helicopter, see item number 154 on this page. The number marked on the tool is 756460.

It is used to install trim on windows for aircraft, auto, or marine vehicles. I have no idea how it's used. Maybe one of our aviation techs can explain.

Picture an 85 Chevrolet pick up windshield rubber with the chrome/black lacing. This tool installs lacing after the gasket/glass are installed. It s the final installation step.
