(Seems to be a Duro Overarm Router)

I was at a regular garage sale thing today and noticed something interesting. It was a very old piece of machinery. It looked almost like a drillpress or mill. But not sure what it was. It had a round base/columne that made a nice taper. Then it had an arm coming out over the drill press like working table that was also very stout. And then a rather small eletric motor on the end of the arm. This all looked like it was not ment to move very often. And was really ment to be set. Then the working table under where the bit goes went up and down with a large foot pedal. Any way way I did not have enough light to read the plague on the motor and some one was with me so did not really have time to check it out. Probably something simple when some one mentions what it is. Any way I was curios so let me know what you think it is.

I can guarantee it is a whatchamacallit. Whatchamacallits have been around since the days before camera phones. Whatchamacallits are generally used to work with "things" with youknowwho, and whatshisface.

Pics would be nice but I had no way of getting any when I was there. If I get a chance to go back I will get the info off the plate and we can figure out what it is.

OK I think what it is is a router. I had been thinking maybe that is what is was but found some pictures that seems to show ones that work the same way.
