If you can't find a direct replacement, alarm supply companies carry generic transmitter and receiver pairs that might work as a substitute. I have used Linear brand in the past to operate doors. The receivers are programmable for momentary operation and wireless codes.

Thanks.
The trick is that I can’t access / mess with the receiver.
This is for an area that I have access to via gate code, but the entity that I rent from doesn’t hand out remotes.
I know the DIP sequence for the gate, but need to find a transmitter that I can use. I know the one linked above works, as several friends have it, but it seems unavailable now…

there are quite a few 4 channel Albano remotes on ebay with that frequency. Have up you considered trying one of those?

I saw those … can’t tell how they are programmed / if there are DIP switches or if it is the kind that has to learn freq from an existing unit?

Seems like a lot of places list them if you do a search. You will probably just have to start at the top and make some phone calls till you find somebody that has one in stock.

Thanks - I did the same search, Most all the links I clicked said out of stock / no longer made.
Calling isn’t a bad idea.

Sounds like you have the same issues I’ve had getting one. The only place I could find the 8 dipswitch units were from an Eagle dealer. Good luck, pricy damn things.

Just want to mention that I dont think you can assume that an 8 switch remote from one manufacturer is going to work with a different manufacturers receiver. The switches on a brand "A" remote might do a totally different thing compared to the switches from a brand "B" remote.
