Help finding a manual for old air compressor

I inherited this air compressor from my grandfather and I have come to really like and appreciate it. I don't use it frequently, but wanted to identify it and get a manual for it so I can make sure I'm maintaining it the best I can. It does say standard pneumatic on it and I have found a few numbers but haven't been able to find a manual or anything. Can anyone help steer me in the right direction as far as maintenance goes or point me to manual for it?

I have had the compressor for about 12 years now and maybe have 10 or 20 hours on it. I mainly use it for nail guns for projects around the house, to put air in the tires, and undercoat my cars so when I use it im not putting a huge demand on it. I changed the oil on it and drain the tank maybe once a quarter or so. It's very loud when filling. Is there something I should be oiling or greasing or anything else I should do to make this last forever?

most important thing to so is drain the tank on a regular basis every quarter is not enough. after each use is more like it

Going to need to get your post count up legitimately, and then post some photos, Standard Pneumatic made some tools, but also made dual compressor run control systems.

Try "Vintage Machinery.org" They have an online libraryof old manuals.

you have run of the mill stuff there.
nothing obscure or weird that needs special treatment .
just drain the tank after every use. keep oil in compressor clean & topped up. belt should last a long time, but if it craps out, easily replaced with a generic one.
other than that it's basically run it till something craps out. like if the tank starts to leak ( scrap it & don't try to fix it, buy another tank or compressor) , pressure switch craps out and needs tp be replaced etc.

Your pump looks suspiciously like a Campbell Hausfeld VT series pump. They have been making them by the millions for decades. CH has manuals for download on their website. Look the pump over carefully for any stamped numbers.

Not much to maintaining a compressor, drain the tank often and change the oil in the pump every couple of years. A manual will most likely contain 98% safety warnings and 2% useful info (parts diagram).
