Help finding a set of ratchet wrenches

Forgive me as I'm sure there's several threads on this same subject. I'm just a little unsure on which way I would like to go. I'd like to pick up another set of ratcheting wrenches. Both metric up to 25mm and SAE up to 1".

I have a GW combination set that I like. However, I'd like to move those to my work truck box and get a different set for my shop box. I haven't had any problems with my current GW set. I just want something different.

I've tried to check out a lot of options. I've looked at SO, Blue Point, GW, Armstrong, Matco, and EZ Red. I like the idea of a double box, one end ratcheting, one not. I don't like the idea of the GW set due to the extra length. I've looked at double box ends with both ratcheting ends, but they seem to lack length for bigger sizes, such as 17mm+ and 13/16+.
I would like a flex ratcheting end. But would prefer to stay away from a combination style wrench, as I rarely use the open end of a ratcheting wrench.
Are there any options of a double box, one ratcheting end, one non ratcheting, possibly with the ratcheting end in a flex that isn't XL in length?

I kind of like the idea of EZ Red, but I like Armstrong's double box as well since it isn't the extra length that seems so popular with GW. I've read a lot of good reviews about all these brands, especially on here. I'm just undecided.

I'm open to options and ideas...so long as it's not junk or some weekly special from HF. I try to stick with US made. However, I know when it comes to ratcheting wrenches an exception may have to be made. Any help is much appreciated.

How about Kastar/A&E? Not sure about the size offerings but they have made those wrenches for Craftsman for years. That is their forte...

Unfortunately, no one makes a standard length ratcheting wrench with a flex head ratcheting boxed end on one side, and a fixed boxed end on the other. I really wish they would though. Several brands offer an extra long version but, they are often too long to use in many cases.
I think your best choice may be the Armstrong made proswing ratcheting wrench. It was sold as MATCO but, MATCO recently switched to 90 tooth version made by Kabo in Taiwan. Still great wrenches though.
The Proswing is a standard length wrench with a 15 degree offset fixed boxed end wrench on one side and a 72 tooth ratcheting zeros offset boxed end on the other side. They are available in sizes from 8-25 mm or 5/16 - 1 inch.

That's one option I haven't checked out yet. I wasn't aware they made the Craftsman ones.

I've took those into consideration too. I'm just not sure I'd want to break things loose with that. That's why I'd like a standard box end also.

I've been kind of confused on who has and does make Matco's. I've seen a lot of different answers on that question.

I highly recommend the armstrong made wrenches they are high quality and made in good ol usa.

Yeah either the armstrongs or armstrong made matco are really nice wrenches and usa made. I currently dont have either one in double box but have used them and really liked them. I'm wanting to pick up a metric set myself when I can. I've had the combination armstrong ratcheting wrenches at work and a set at home for a while and have no complaints at all with them.
