Help finding a SoCal Epoxy retailer.

Does anyone know where in SoCal/Los Angeles I can purchase Epoxy for my garage floor?

After all the work I’ve put in to my garage in the recent weeks I’m finally ready to buy why I started to work in it in the first place. My original intention was to epoxy the floor but after a series of “well, since I’m already here I should just fix it.” From grinding the slab to drywall to plumbing to paint I’m finally ready for epoxy. But with all those extra trips to lowes and homedepot I would like to save some cash where ever possible and my thought is if i can pick it up i can save on shipping.

Moisture test was conducted in 3 different spots and no moisture was present. I used the plastic and duct tape method and left alone for 24 hours. Theirs a stubborn corner that i just cant seem to get rid of what appears to be rust . Ive already grinned it and washed it and I even scrubbed with Rust-Oleum acid etch. Pic 2 and 3

Garage is 24x20=480sq ft if my math is correct so ill need to buy 500 sq ft maybe a bit more.

The slab was probably poured in the 80 or late 70s its seen allot of abuse from me and my dad, I don’t plan on doing any heavy work in it any more but i do plan on using a jack and jack stands in it.

Will epoxy cover the small cracks shown in pic 1? Pic 3 was taken after i poured some acid on it lol.

Most garage floor coating vendors with quality product that you purchase online will ship for free unless it's a very large order or full flake coverage (color flakes get heavy). Plus, you don't always pay the state taxes, though that is slowly changing. If you want to buy in the LA area, garagecoatings.com is a source.

Only 100% solids epoxy will cover those cracks. It would need to be applied with a squeegee or gauge rake before back rolled. Hopefully you neutralized the acid? If not, it will continue to eat away at the concrete and permanently damage it.

Thanks for a quick for such a late response Shea. I rinsed the area 3 times per the instructions on the back of the bottle, so that should neutralize the acid right?

I wasn’t aware that most places took care of the shipping, I hadn’t thought about the weight from the flake I’m going to look into garagecoating.com right now thanks. I would like to get a metallic epoxy if I could \.
