eta gah gaffed the title, 'a topic where members showcase their custom / homebuilt cabinets?'
I've been trying various keyword searches and it isn't working out, looking for ideas for homebuilt garage storage and workshop cabinets. I figure there's got to already be at least one mega-topic featuring just that, but I haven't had any luck finding it. Browsed a lot of nice garages here over the years, but don't have any particular topics bookmarked that match what I'm seeking.
I've done a lot of home renovation projects, a little house flipping, cabinetry, mouldings, furniture etc, I'm a pretty decent 'apprentice'. I'm looking to rework my SoCal suburbia 2-car mess to tidy it up, get a lot of open shelves closed up with doors and re-work an entire sidewall into some sort of cohesive whole. As well as turn the opposite front quadrant into my woodworking area, something I can curtain off to curtail the mess.
I've just started fiddling with SketchUp, I usually just scribble a few pen sketches to jot measurements onto. This is mostly a blockign diagram to see what arrangements will work for me

I do a lot of work in other trades as well, plumbing, tiling, electrical etc, and a good bit of fabrication in many materials over the years, so I'm willing to consider all sorts of ideas to try in my quest to improve my garage workspace.
So if anyone has some links to some neat cabinet-style storage solutions, I'd appreciate them.
