Hi,
I am looking for a pump that will be able to **** oil from an engine. I have tried a pump, which worked but the oil caused it to fail. The requirements I have are:

- Must be suitable for oil, possibly some fuel
- Must be able to **** through roughly a 50' hose - 25' MINIMUM
- 120v prefered, but could look at some other options as well
- Must be long lasting - this will get lots of use
- Parts availability is a bonus

Thanks!

Raasm and Liquidynamics have some that may suit your needs if air operated vacuum is ok. They have pretty good customer service. I'd think that long of a pull through a line maybe a bit hard on pump long term. Most would need the oil in to help lube and cool the pump as it works or risk shortened life quickly.

Question... What kind of engine or area are you dealing with that you need to **** oil up to 50 feet?

Air powered vacuum suction tools exist. I understand your 25 foot requirement, as you can easily have a 15' path between the bottom of the pan, up the dipstick, over the hood, and back to the floor mounted pump.

My main issue I have found with the air powered unit is simply getting the tube to the base of the pan. Windage trays and other obstructions mean there's usually oil in the pan when I do the "double check" plug removal. As a result I have been unsuccessful in oil extraction via the dipstick.

Check amazon or similar, mityvac and other make various oil extraction devices with long hoses. Extension hoses can be fabricated, and i imagine the venturi powered pump would be long lasting. They do use a lot of air though.

That's basically what I have. Great for drain and filling transmissions. It has yet to fully drain an oil pan, purely due to the hoses hitting obstacles.

I have some of those portable suction deals, which work pretty good actually. I was just looking for more of a permanent solution. I have a large used oil tote, which I was planning on setting up for this purpose. Drag the hose out to a boat, **** the oil out, wind up the hose. Basically the same setup that you use for an air line, only this is for oil suction.

My application is for boats, where this is often the only available method of extraction. I have also had poor results with automotive and other applications. I think I figured something out that will work though.

Seems to be the best of both worlds, fluid extraction, and easy disposal without lifting the whole unit up.
