Help Finding OUTDOOR STORAGE options?

Whats up everyone. The garage where i live is pretty full of well...cars lol. So not a lot of space for my car detailing supplies. I have everything out doors in sort of a make shift set up...that isn't the most appealing.

Id like to have something that is on the short but long (horizontally) side with doors that open from the front, not the top (if possible). I'll probably need two. If anyone has some suggestions I'd be very appreciative. I'm hoping to get away without having to spend TOO much.

Don't know how far their reach is but we had a Tuf-Shed and LOVED IT! Missus was renting a 10'x10' space and we decided to bring everything to the house. The sales guy recommended we go with something bigger (apparently the #1 complaint of folks, wish they went bigger) so we had a 10'x14' shed built and glad we did go bigger The shed was paid off in 27 months and after that we were saving money thanks to 'on-site' storage

I WISH i could go w/that lol..but i need something more like 3 or 4 feet tall and only about 2 feet deep and maybe 6-8 feet wide...probably like a deck box but wish i could find something w/doors rather than just a big lid...

Just cut your lumber closer to your dimensions.

Other than that only things I could think of were maybe reworking a craigslist job box, or get crafty with a couple of old pickup truck toolboxes.

Oh and in case you dont know there is a tuff shed dealer at like 40st and the I-10 on the north side.

well you still got some to cut but its all 90 degree cuts. Dont really need to have many carpentry skills for this.

I had a 7x8 up in about a half a day. And I have tore it down and moved it three times without any issues.

Thats a cool kit, have you used it? It says no angles to cut...so the brackets are designed to make to straight boards fit together even at an angle such as the roof? Am i understanding this correctly?

Oh and thx for the info on the Tuff Shed place, nope i sure didn't know there was one there (im in gilbert).

I used similiar siding and door material as the shed posted by air cooled.

And if carpentry isn't your thing either I THINK home depot and lowes will cut to order for an additional cost.

Options are endless once the frame is built really, you could go vinyl siding, metal siding, stucco (would be hard to break down if needed), or whatever else you may think.

Same goes for doors, or roofing.....

It was a cheap solution for me since I had plenty of 2x4's and can get sheeting and roofing materials from one of my relitives who works at a roofing supply company.

Another nice thing is you dont have to worry about code enforcement because its portable storage not a permanent structure. Not sure about Gilberts code enforcement though may want to double check your area.

And on the storage box posted by Adrien, I am not comfortable with a plastic box outside in "our" heat. I have seen a couple worp pretty badly in a short period of time from our heat. Not sure what models they were but it was enough to keep me away from that style project.

Now that I think about it I may build another one about 3 feet deep for an outdoor chemical storage setup. Just so I can get all the chemicals out of my garage.

Well its surely a good option. I'll keep it in mind when i get ready to do it...might be my best bet. And yes you're right about OUR heat kinda messing things up. Ive had some rubbermaid stuff though sit outside in rain and sun and has lasted....8 years? More? Only thing that messed up is the little clip to lock it closed.

Thats mostly what i want is to store my chemicals on shelves all nice and neat, then on the lower shelf have nice ares for my buffers/bags/buckets/steamer etc. I will say be careful what you put outside though...some things if not sealed really well can separate even in covered storage lol (ask me how i know). It will be sitting on gravel, but since it will be so short and wide i dont think it will be an issue. I just want it to look NICE...and thats when i end up blowing money lol. I could probably build 2 for under $300 dont you think? Maybe 7' long X 3' high X 2 or 2.5' deep? 2x4's are cheap...i have some paint and primer...$100 for 2 kits...just need either some sort of siding or plywood...paint it...cut out some doors and a shelf or two...all done.
