Hello my name is I'm from northern illinois I want to build a 30 x40 x14 garage I think I want to stick build it like a house with a 4/12 pitch does anyone have any in put on it is there a web site were u can desin your garage an it a rough cost an material sheet happy to join an thanks for the help in advance

welcome to GJ !

rough cost depends a lot on the foundation work. if you are planning a concrete slab over a compacted base, that would be a lot more affordable than excavating for proper foundations and backfill with sand.

I built mine on a slab and am happy with it.

By the time it's all done, I'll be in it for about $25 sqft (building it by myself).

If I had to hire out for all of it, it probably would have been about $60 sqft.
