help!! garage epoxy, etching questions

So I etched, scrubbed, and cleaned my garage floor yesterday to prep for todays painting and between last night and this morning it started thunder storming and raining. My question is:

1. Can I still paint the epoxy if it's raining and humidity is high? Will it affect the outcome?
2. If I wait a week, do I have to re-etch, scrub, and clean my floors again? Or, can I just respray the area, squeegee it to get any dirt that may be present after waiting a week?

If you keep it clean just vacuum or thoroughly sweep before coating, no need to do more. I would think rain and humidity would not matter much, but I do not know what your epoxy manufacturer would recommend.

Depends what the directions say. I was told by the vendor to let the slab dry for at least a week.

I can't see why you would have to re-etch it; that doesn't really make any sense. The purpose of etching is to roughen the surface by creating more of a profile for your coating to bite into. Your etching solution is effectively dissolving part of the surface, leaving small peaks and valleys. So long as you rinsed them away, those small particles of concrete can't just magically reappear!
