Hello all,

Maybe someone can help me. We just purchased a home with an "unfinished" garage. The previous owner left us with new gladiator products, but there are no slat walls on the walls. I looked up the slats for Gladiator, and they are very expensive. Is there a "clone" slat wall that is cheaper, that will fit Gladiator products??

Post a picture of what Gladiator products you have. If they are wall cabinets one could mount them to the "unfinished" walls onto the studs directly. Otherwise Sears usually has the Gladiator GearTrack on sale BOGO. Depending on how many Gladiator products you have will determine how many feet of GearTrack you will need. GearTrack allows fast easy installation and the ability to adjust where your cabinet is hung should conditions change in the garage. Any leftover sections of GearTrack will be great for investing more in Gladiator hooks and accessories for the garage.

Folks, don't the Sears' Cman-branded slats interchange with GGW slats? They can be had for 10-50% less, especially at holiday/Black Friday $ale$!

The only Sears branded Slat wall I see is called Easy Living Jifram . Is that Gladiator compatible?

My wife bought a bunch of the welded Gladiator wall cabinets from Sears but we found the cheapest Gladiator track at Lowes at the time.

If this is for cabinets I think you could just make or have somebody make beveled (aka "French") cleats for you. Even if it's just the hooks you could mount them to beveled cleats.

I have cabinets mounted on both beveled cleats and on Gladiator track and like the cleats I made myself better. The Gladiator track is nice for the hooks though.
